The Story of Sam Hing
Sam Hing Sacles Factory Limited was founded by Mr Leung Shui-kiu, along with another relative and a friend, signifying its origins as a triumph of three individuals.
Established in 1944 during World War II when Japan occupied Hong Kong, Mr Leung Shui-kiu witnessed Japanese soldiers wielding rifles on the streets. At that time, his son, Mr Leung Wai-chiu, was only about ten years old. During this period, he was once charged at by Japanese soldiers with rifles while running from his home onto the street, and was forced to return home. As a result, his father, Mr Leung Shui-kiu, chose three rifles as the company’s trademark for ease of memorization. The early trademark was shield-shaped, later simplified to a rectangle, which became another one of the company’s registered trademarks.
Sam Hing Scales Factory Limited is now managed by the third generation of the Leung’s family. The company will continue to uphold the “fair and impartial” motto of the two Mr Leungs, and to dedicate ourselves to serving all sectors of Hong Kong and consumers.

Customized weighing systems according to customer’s applications. Weighing controller / indicator and load cell. Standard masses of different classes (optional calibration certificate shall be included). Also provides repair and maintenance services for electronic scales
